70年代後半から80年代前半、男性のような豪快な滑りでピステを席巻した、アメリカを代表するダウンヒル・スペシャリスト。それだけではなく技術系種目でも度々良い成績を出すオールラウンダーでもあった。同時代にアンネマリー・モザー・プレルやマリーテレーゼ・ナディクなどの強烈な個性の存在したことが不幸であった。
1989年ヴェイル世界選手権の際にはコース委員長として大会を成功に導いた。 |
